Neighbours When you move into your home it is important to have a good relationship with your neighbours.  It is vital to understand what is anti-social behaviour (ASB) is and how it affects communities.

What is ASB?
ASB is behaviour that reasonably interferes with peoples right to use and enjoy their home and community.  Examples are:

  • noise
  • verbal abuse
  • harassment
  • vandalism and graffitti
  • untidy gardens
  • alcohol and drug abuse
  • noisy pets
  • cars and vehicles, such as unsocial parking or repairs on the street
  • children and young people misbehaving
