Learning with GGH
We do not believe that getting involved should put you out of pocket so we pay out of pocket and carers expenses if you attend a GGH meeting or training session.  Getting involved with GGH does not affect any benefits you may currently receive.  GGH offers a variety of free one off courses.  Coming up are:

Monday 27 September, 1.30-3.30pm

Floral Design Workshop, Long Lane Garden Centre

Thursday 4 November, 10am-12noon
Tai Chi & Meditation Taster Session, Whitecross Community Centre

Monday 29 November, 10am-2.30pm
Seasonal Arts & Crafts, Sankey Manor, Vine Crescent

Friday 3 December, 1.30-3.30pm
Christmas Wreaths Workshop, Long Lane Garden Centre

Contact the TP Team for more information or to book your place on one of our courses.  Download the September - December 2010 Training Programme.

Requesting a course...
We always welcome suggestions and requests from you this could be from making hanging baskets to gaining the skills to become a Director of GGH (Board member).

We can also help access courses that can help you or your community group e.g. First Aid, Basic Food Hygiene and much more.   Contact the TP Team for more information or to book your place on one of our courses.

CIH Level 2 in Housing
We are looking to continue to offer any GGH tenant the opportunity to study for a recognised Chartered Institute of Housing qualification.  Tenants who have gained this certificate felt they had learned more about social housing and have found it useful both for volunteering and working in the housing sector. For more information contact the Tenant Participation Team.
