Here is some information abou the 'Federation' - a umbrella group for the Tenants & Residents Associations in Warrington..................

What is the Federation?

• A group made up of many Tenant & Resident Associations across Warrington
• There are 27 Tenant and Resident Associations that are members of the Federation
• There are 5 individual members – individuals can also join the Federation
• The Federation represents the views of tenants and residents to GGH, the council and other organisations

What does the Federation do?
The Federation meets once a month to:

• We discuss housing issues and other issues that affect tenants and residents of Warrington.  For example, policing, the environment, Council services.
• We receive information and reports from GGH and other organisations and are regularly consulted on many issues.
• We attend training courses, conferences and seminars on a variety of issues.
• We progress the views of Tenants and Residents on Cheshire-wide forums.
• We support Tenant and Residents groups in Warrington

The benefits of being a member of the Federation?

• Get to be involved and consulted on important issues.
• Gain confidence, learn new skills and develop knowledge of many services and issues.
• Help to make improvements in the services tenants and residents receive.
• Help to further the aims of local Tenant & Residents groups.
• As we represent many Tenants and Residents we can be more influential than groups or individuals on their own.

Meetings The Federation meet on the first Wednesday of every month, 5pm at the Town Hall.  Doreen Moors, chair of the Federation says "contact the TP Team for more information and if you would like to have a say in the way GGH deliver services".   Below are minutes of some recent meetings...
