Support for All Workers
The service helps tenants to maintain their tenancies in the most positive way possible and promote their independence. If you have a problem in one of the folowing areas, we may be able to help you:

  • Housing History - Problems with former landlords/ maintaining previous tenancies. Help with other professionals - Are you entitled to support from other agencies?

  • Re-settlement - Have you recently moved into your property? You could be entitled to grants and we may be able to help you furnish your property and provide other help necessary if your re-located Work/Education/Social

  • Isolation/Health Issues - The service can help you to investigate education and or employment opportunities if that is what you want. If you are keen to develop your knowledge of the area from a social point of view, your Housing Support Worker can help with that too.

  • Finance Issues - You may be struggling and be entitled to benefits that you are not yet claiming. We will either refer you and take you to meet a money advice worker or try to help you personally. If you have debt with the council due to late Housing Benefit claim, we will help you to re-claim the back-dated benefit.

  • Housing Management Issues - do you have a problem with your property? Is it in need of repairs? Are you suffering with neighbour nuisance? We will try our best to help you resolve any/all of the above. Helping to improve your quality of life, arranging aids and adaptations to your home, helping to find voluntary work and much more!
